Gholamhossein Amirkhani is a distinguished Iranian calligrapher, particularly renowned for his mastery of the Nastaliq style. Born in 1939 in Taleghan, Iran, he is recognized as a “Living Treasure” in Iran for his contributions to the art of calligraphy. Amirkhani began honing his skills in calligraphy from a young age during his school years. His artistic journey includes solo and group exhibitions, showcasing his talent not only in calligraphy but also in painting and drawing. He has significantly influenced the contemporary calligraphy scene in Iran.
