Reza Bangiz, born in 1316, Tehran. He graduated from Tehran Fine Arts Conservatory. He was studying in the second year of conservatory, which by participating in the second biennial of Tehran, he was able to win one of the biennial awards, and this was his first exhibition appearance (1329). After that, he held many solo exhibitions and his works were exhibited in many group exhibitions, participating in the third to fifth biennials of Tehran (1341-45), Tokyo International Exhibition, Liege International Exhibition in Belgium and other exhibitions in These include Iran, France, Saudi Arabia, Armenia, Czechoslovakia, the United States, Turkey and Canada.
He has taught at the country’s conservatories and art colleges for more than 45 years, and has performed in two prominent roles on the Tehran Metro and in pottery at the Budget Smoot Museum in Virginia, USA.
