The collection of mirrors in the works of Iraj Eskandari is an abstract narrative of mystical themes. The combination of geometry, color, material and the way the artist confronts Iranian and Islamic cultural and pictorial traditions, finds a contemporary language and connects yesterday to today. The painting in front with the title “Aql Sorkh”, which clearly refers to a work with the same title by Sheikh Ashraq, Shahabuddin Suhrawardi, is one of the later works of this collection.
